No need for silly introductions. Let us just dump everything we know that is useful for breakout mode. Also there is the thread about Mystery box locations in Breakout mode if you want to check it out. Special thanks to: leeweida, CR Mob, Squire Gaming, Genausi, AydoganTR, and everyone else on this forum that I might forgot to mention.
General:
Cookie/pet level matters, but right cookie at the right place can make all the differences. Rethink of your next cookie-pet-treasure set after each run. When you remember the current or next stage layout, what kind of cookie-pet-treasure combination best work at it?
Normal players will reach Chapter 4 in around 30-40 minutes of playing.
Do not waste rescue tickets too much. It might be wiser to restart the whole breakout (if you are on first two cookies) or re-run the stage (10 crystals at first, then 20, 40, 70, and finally 100 crystal respectively)
Be careful when using cookies who can fly and/or blasting (Hero Cookie, Sea Fairy Cookie, Yoga Cookie, Wind Archer Cookie etc) because some stages put stepping platforms in a place so high -- which you cannot reach if you fall into the lowest ground.
Always take the topmost path at bonus times. More Rainbow bear jellies there.
Mystery Boxes appear at the precise same location everytime.
Start using shield treasure and dynamite treasure in 3-x and 4-x stages until you can do perfect run. You will have the ability to do perfect runs after many exercises. I dropped my Shield Dynamite after 20 times trying Breakout mode, and I can alredy do perfect runs except for Chapter 4.
There is no Magic Pouches (where we get magic candy ingredients) in Breakout mode.
Note about Breakout Mystic Jewels rewards:
The rewards you receive after completing the first set of Rewards List (when Strawberry Cookie appears at the screen) will be random fom the list, and please note that there is no checklist anymore at this point.
That means at this point, for example if you received rescue tickets after claiming the reward, there is a probability that you will receive rescue tickets again on the next claim. Because there is no checklist at all, thus items in the list that you just received will have a chance to appear again upon next claim.
Always claim the reward when you have full jewel tablet for Chapter 2, 3, and 4. For Chapter 1, you are free to leave as it is or claim immediately because there are coins as claiming reward...
Stages: Note that these review below are suited for situation at each particular stage(s). You can always try to invent your own cookie-pet-treasure build and perform better.
1-1 to 1-3: What the hell are you guys thinking, using Gingerbrave at the easiest stages? Pick Rockstar or something.
Note for the last part of 1-3: If you quit the run right after finishing the Bonus Time from Bonus Time jelly, your next cookie will be able to pick the very same Bonus Time jelly, thus allowing you to have two Bonus Times in the same stage.
1-4: Very fast energy drain rate. Lots of potions. Normal players would pick cookies which can blast or Cocoa Cookie. Soda Cookie can also be used, but nowadays he`s only used in the middle of chapter 2, especially 2-3.
Note: If you start from 1-1 with Knight Cookie Foxy Bead (all max level), they can reach 1-5 by themselves.
1-5: Energy drain rate revert back to normal at this stage. Use Crown treasure and cookies with magnetic abilities. Very few basic jellies. Do not use pets which rely on basic jellies to make something (Blast jellies, Giant jellies, potions etc). Do not also use cookies which rely on basic jellies for their abilities (Orange Cookie for example. No basic jellies = no tennis balls)
1-6: Ideal for jumping exercise. Want to try Cheerleader cookie here? Lots of obstacles too. Any other cookie works fine also.
2-1: Bonus Time x2. Try not to miss "E". Lots of Bear Jellies, use the Bear Jelly Ice Cream treasure.
2-3: Lots of potions, very fast energy drain rate. Soda Cookie or Cocoa Cookie (but honestly any cookie in general) can pass this stage without problem. Despite the jumping frogs, all potions are retrievable without colliding with them. Note: Soda Cookie works best in 2-3 for most players. If you use Soda Cookie in the middle of 2-1 or 2-2, he can have full health by the time he reach 2-4.
2-4: Lots of obstacles. Use Hammer treasure with appropriate cookie-pet combination of your choice. If you use Soda Cookie to finish 2-3, he will also rolls the obstacles here.
From 2-5 forward, you are in the harder part of Breakout. Faster energy drain compared to the beginning of chapter 1.
2-5: At this point you will notice obstacles are starting to get tightly packed. Also this stage has blast jellies around.
2-6: You can only score very little here (due to the stage mostly containing coins). Lots of blast jellies and quite few basic jellies around. Pick a good combination to get out of here as soon as you can.
I use level 2 Sea Fairy Cookie Wishing Star for 2-5 and 2-6, she can reach 2-7 just fine.
2-7: If you remember what to do and when to jump, this is a quite easy stage despite the darkness shroud theme. Note: if your cookie is the one who can transform/ride, jump to follow the platform and try not falling into lowest level ground. You will risk yourself falling because stepping platforms are mostly on the upper part of the screen only -- where the cookie cannot reach no matter how high it tried to jump.
2-8: Trust not the movement of obstacles, but faithfully follow the jelly trails to the very end.
2-9: Be warned not to jump too early or too late, you will bump into the flying fishes.
3-1: This stage used to be hard everywhere, but now only for some small part. Time your jump carefully, you might wonder why you are falling even though you thought you jumped at the correct pace.
3-2: Too many holes. Rocket Firecracker recommended. If you use Cookie that can fly or blast forward, try not to fall into the lowest ground. Most part of the stage has platforms at very high ground and you cannot get up there no matter how high you tried to jump.
3-3: Camel feet cannot be destroyed by most cookie/pet abilities and will damage you if you are not truly invincible. For example, Cheerleader cookie's ability cannot prevent camel feet from damaging her. From 3-4 forward here comes the challenging, second hardest part of Breakout mode.
3-4: This stage used roughly the same strategy you will use in 1-5.
3-5: Lots of obstacles. If you use cookies who can fly (Hero Cookie, Sea Fairy Cookie, Yoga Cookie etc) or blast forward (Pistachio Cookie, Vampire Cookie etc) keep them in lower ground at the right time, so you might not miss a Mystery Box.
3-6: Lots of obstacles but trust me, perfect run here is possible compared to 3-5. I like this stage more because there are few holes around compared to previous stages, so you have less chance of falling. Follow the jelly trail and you will be mostly fine, though you still need to exercise here a lot of times.
4-1: Two Mystery Boxes, one at the beginning and one at the end. Note for 4-1: Try free-falling when sliding. You will reach the ground faster by a slight fraction of a second compared to free-falling when walking. Useful for some part.
4-2: Hardest part of Breakout, obviously. You will score very little here, around 4 to 7 million and averages at 5 million.
Even faster energy drain compared to previous Chapters. I calculated around 3.5 to 4 energy per second -- exact number is yet to be determined.
What kind of treasure will work here is still under debate, though higher level players might find some treasure set useful. Refer to the world rankings.
Four Mystery Boxes in total, look at your running progress bar to determine when they will appear. It is located when the running man figure in the progress bar reaches 1/4, half, 3/4, and near the end of the progress bar.
Chapter 3 and 4 need experienced player to get through. After 20 times running around here, you will get used to it. A fun but rapidly exhausting game mode. That is what it is.
